There’s one constant when it comes to shooting photos of Northern Mockingbirds, the subject of my featured gallery for June: I hear a Mockingbird before I see it. It’s a bird that makes its presence known.
Mockingbirds sing all day and sometimes into the night. They usually perch in plain view, sitting high on trees or bushes.
And, for some reason, I almost always see them in one 50-yard section of trail in Sharon Woods Metro Park north of Columbus, Ohio. …
